About EqualRight2Dream

What We're About

A Platform for the Voiceless and the Vulnerable

EqualRight2Dream is a platform for the voiceless and the vulnerable. We aim to provide content that both inspires and informs.

Together, we all can ensure that each member of our society has equal protection under the law and access to equal opportunities.

It is up to US to ensure that we each have an equal right to dream.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Equal Protection

Every person — regardless of background, circumstance, or social standing — deserves equal protection under the law.

Equal Opportunity

Access to opportunity should never be determined by wealth, race, or privilege. We fight to level the playing field.

Collective Responsibility

JustUs recognizes "we the people" as our greatest common denominator. Societal justice begins first with JustUs.

Truth & Transparency

We provide content that both inspires and informs — because an informed community is an empowered community.

About the Founder

Dr. Marcus Rushing

MD, MPH, MS — Physician, Public Health Advocate, Founder

Dr. Marcus Rushing is a physician, public health advocate, and the founder of EqualRight2Dream. His journey has been shaped by personal encounters with systemic injustice — experiences that transformed his calling from medicine to advocacy.

Following protected activity, between November 6, 2025, and January 6, 2026, he experienced a rapid transition from housing insecurity to homelessness in Minnesota. His experiences have deepened his commitment to a greater purpose: to advocate for and care for the voiceless and the vulnerable.

"Advocate to the Poor, the Vulnerable, & the Voiceless"

The Philosophy

"All men are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."

— Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

JustUs is not a Black or White issue; neither is it merely a privileged or poor issue; rather, it's a people issue. In a world full of differences, JustUs recognizes "we the people" as our greatest common denominator.

Societal justice begins first with JustUs.
